Medicare Part C (Medicare Advantage) plans are private health plans that have contracts with Medicare. When you join one, you get your Medicare-covered healthcare services through the private plan. Medicare Part C plans MUST cover all the same services as Medicare Part A and B. However Medicare Part C plans may also cover services that Original Medicare does not pay for. For example plans may cover; Prescription Drugs, Dental Coverage, Vision Coverage, Eyeglasses, hearing exams and Hearing Aides all at no additional cost.

Depending what you county you live in you may receive much more.

With a Medicare part C plan you will normally pay co-pays or co-insurance that is a fraction of what you would pay on Original Medicare.

In many cases you may pay $0 for a Medicare Advantage plan.
